Catfish Acclimation Team

Every year a team of Sustainability students (photo credit Ian McGurn) at GTA devotes some time to acclimate catfish fingerlings to their new home in our greenhouse. With this much help it takes no time at all to transition the fish from their cooler starting pond to the balmy conditions in the greenhouse.

Acclimating the fish means giving them time to get used to the new water.
